The Love That Lives Here

There is nothing that blesses more than to be surprised by the love of the people who you serve. Yesterday was my birthday and I was honored by my team with decorations, cakes, gifts, laughter, and the best of all...love.

There is a saying, "It's lonely at the top" when you run a company and this is very true when it comes to making decisions that affect the running of the business. Seldom does it feel as if you've impacted the lives of others who work for you as information tends to flow from the top down. Yesterday, I was blessed more by the kind words that they shared about their appreciation for their work and the environment that is the Encouragers difference. You see, the team in the photo consists of volunteers (Kristen Telon (California Baptist), Kristen Springsteen (Brandman), Kameron Kaveh (Pepperdine), Linda MacInnes (Touro) who are students working toward gaining their Master's Degree in Psychology and Social Work. Three others (pictured: Kelly Williams ASW and De'Wana Hubbard AMFT and Michelle Enenbach ASW- off camera) have graduated and are working toward licensure. The team works with veterans and low income families in our Murrieta office. Everyone one of my team are compassionate, caring, and full of love and you can see it in these big smiles. I desire to create an environment where love and laughter reign and I believe we should enjoy coming to work especially if you're working for free.

I pick only the cream of the crop for my team and the quality of care our clients receive is nothing short of excellent. Are we perfect? No, we can make mistakes after all we are human. But do we try our best to be the best we can be? Yes. The expectation is not perfection but PASSION. If you are looking for someone who cares about the work they do you are better off finding a person who is passionate about their work because they will do their best to serve you. At Encouragers we are all passionate therapists who give our clients our best. We all are a part of the love that lives here.

"Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work; If one falls down, his friend can help him up."

Ecclesiastes 4:9 NIV
