Sometimes a visit by Santa isn't all that it's cracked up to be.
Christmas is over. I'm so sad to say good-bye to the season of love and joy. The holiday seemed less bright this year as less and less emphasis was placed on the holiday than Christmas' past. There are no more parades, no holiday music playing at the mall, and no one says, "Merry Christmas" anymore. Santa and his rain dear are no longer the hit of the season as the season fades into obscurity. A new year is upon us and it's time to start looking ahead.
So, what do we have to look forward to? Are we entering into a season of hope and prosperity or a season of fear and trepidation? I pray for peace and hope, rest and renewal for everyone who struggled in 2022. As Tiny Tim would say, "God bless us, everyone."
