Do you feel like you receive less than you deserve? Then I have some questions for you:

Were you prevented from being your best because of the actions and limitations set by others?

Or, were you given opportunities and rejected them? Were you present, but not a participant? Were you listening, but not engaged? Did you read and not learn? Did you see and not listen? Were you willing to accept mediocrity and settle for less only to realize you are getting older, have limited options, and now wish you had what was offered so many years ago? Was the dream you wished for within your grasp and you just didn't take it? Did fear keep you from being your best?

When we refuse to accept mediocrity,

we can achieve amazing things.

By what measure do you choose to live? Do you just want to "get by"? Do you want more, but fear failure even more? Does the risk outweigh the reward? Everyone of us has gifts and talents. You may not have explored your talents and gifts and therefor, have not discovered or developed them. If you have discovered your particular gift or talent, do you use them to help others, or do you keep them to yourself? When we discover our gifts and develop our talents and put them to good use, the more we give of ourselves, the more we will receive in return. We will find a purpose, we will develop compassion, care, and with consistency, we will become the best version of ourselves we can be. We also will be a walking, talking example for others who have not discovered, developed, or used their own gifts. Imagine how beautiful the world would be is we all used our gifts and talents to improve the world around us.

"LORD, you alone are my inheritance, my cup of blessing. You guard all that is mine."

Psalm 16:5
